About me
My approach
My approach is focused on creating a supportive and non-judgmental space where you feel truly heard and understood. I am a highly empathetic person with a genuine interest in your unique experiences and struggles. With extensive psychotherapy training in the UK and registration as a psychological counsellor in Austria, I offer transformative coaching and counselling tailored specifically to your needs. My mission is to empower you to break free from unhelpful patterns, build healthier relationships, and achieve your full potential.
I draw on the principles of Transactional Analysis (TA), a powerful and practical method that helps you understand and transform your behavior, communication, and relationships. TA allows us to explore how past experiences shape the way you interact with yourself and others, while giving you tools to make meaningful changes.
What makes me different is my unique blend of personal and professional experience. Growing up with family members with ADHD and autism has given me a deep, personal understanding of neurodivergence. This experience, combined with my professional training, enables me to offer insights and strategies that are not only effective but also deeply attuned to the challenges and strengths of neurodivergent individuals.
Why Work With Me?
- Specialized Expertise: My personal experience working with the international community in Manchester and Vienna since 2006, combined with my professional training in TA psychotherapy, pedagogics and coaching, makes me uniquely equipped to support individuals from all walks of life and a multitude of difficulties.

- Collaborative Partnership: I see myself as an equal partner in your journey. I integrate coaching strategies with psychotherapy theory to help you analyze and empower yourself. Together, we’ll build a foundation for meaningful growth.
- Authentic and Flexible: My creativity, practical nature, and sense of humor help create a comfortable, safe space for exploration. I adapt to your individual needs and pace, ensuring our work is aligned with your goals.
My Philosophy
I strive to help you recognize and harness your individual strengths. Together, we will better understand your unique experiences and focus on enhancing your communication, emotional responses, and relationships. Using a combination of coaching and psychotherapy tools, I will assist you in identifying your internal resources to foster personal growth, improve emotional regulation, and develop more fulfilling social interactions.
If you are neurodivergent, my approach is especially suited to help you navigate societal expectations and live authentically within your identity. My background
Originally from Austria, I grew up bilingually with a British mother. I am the co-founder and a director of The MIND Institute. I have worked as a counsellor and psychotherapist in advanced clinical training in private practice in the UK since 2006, as well as being a mum to twin teenage boys. I am also a fully qualified teacher and personal adviser with over 21 years’ experience of personal development in groups and training in the UK and in Vienna, Austria.
Before founding The Mind Institute in 2014, I had established Oak Tree Therapy, Training & Research Institute, a centre of excellence in the UK, implementing and delivering clinical and research services. Prior to this I worked for the local authority, supporting young people with multiple and complex issues. Over the years I have undertaken in-depth trainings in psychotherapy, counselling, life-coaching and meditation.
I am committed to life-long personal development, and have undertaken 6 years of advanced clinical training as a Transactional Analysis psychotherapist in the UK. Also, I am currently working towards a master’s degree in psychotherapy in the UK (Transactional Analysis) and full registration in Austria. I am a fully qualified counsellor (Lebens- und Sozialberater) and adhere to the ethical framework of counsellors in Austria, as well as the European Association of Transactional Analysis (EATA).
I also possesses an honours degree as a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) and hold a Diploma in Paedagogics (Dipl. Paed.).
While working for the local authority in the UK, I successfully completed an NVQ 4 in Advice and Guidance, which also equips me to work pragmatically, as a coach, with a wide range of issues, as well as psychologically, as a counsellor.
I have also attended intensive trainings in neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), with the internationally acclaimed life-coach Anthony Robbins and continue to participate in regular trainings and workshops in Transactional Analysis and coaching.
Professional Ethics
I am a registered member of the United Kingdom Association of Transactional Analysis (UKATA). [UKATA is a member organisation of the United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapists – UKCP, and the European Association of Transactional Analysis, EATA]. As an ethical practitioner all of my clinical work is supervised, further enhancing the safety, effectiveness and quality of my practice.
